I love making baby cards. Here's a card I made for a friend who is expecting her first baby. Here's what I used to make this card: Ballet Blue CS that I embossed with the circle CB folder. I used the Quickutz CK lower alphas for the word "baby" cut out in Night of Navy. It's been so long since I used that font and I love it! The sailboat image also came from the Nursery Necessities set and I stamped it using Brocade Blue ink. Then, I punched the circles with the marvy circle giga and mega punches (Night of Navy and whisper white). The large star is also from the Nursery Necessities set. I'm making so good use of that set! Don't you just love how perfect that star is punched out? I used a dimensional to adhere the small stars and I like how the stars just pop out. The thin yellow strip of paper came from the prints sampler pack. I had so much fun making this card.
I forgot to post this photo of this bonus project we did at my January class. To introduce the rub-ons to my DL and customers, everyone was given one of these tins I picked up at Price Busters. The window was perfect to apply the rub-ons. I used the DP from the Bali Breeze collection to cover the bottom of the tin and finished it off with light pink taffeta ribbon. We filled the tin with pink & white crinkle shred and some yummy hersey kisses! Enjoy your superbowl Sunday! Since I'm not into football, Nolan and I are going shopping!
