Anybody celebrate Boy's Day yesterday?? May 5th is Boy's Day! Here's a card I made for Nolan. I never made him a card before, I even wrote in it! This is one of my favorite oriental stamps from Juju's. The fish sticker we took off of the package of mochi which we bought from Shirokiya. I thought it added to the card. The circles are raised using foam tape. I used the CB embossing folder for the background just so it wouldn't look so plain. We finally bought a new carp set to hang outside. I'll have to get a pic of it to share. When Nolan was born, the in laws bought him a set and 12 years later, we really needed to replace it. Since we live by the beach, the salt air is brutal to the fabric not to mention the beating it gets from the sun. I think the price has gone up quite a bit because it costed me an arm and a leg!! I can't wait to share a photo of it with you.
Here's a RAK card I got from Monique. She was paired up with me for the JT's Aloha rak club but had to drop out. I still sent her a card, just because! She was so sweet, that she sent me this card and a package of clear stamps to thank me for sending her a rak anyway..awww, thanks Monique, you are too sweet!
