Happy 88th!

Saturday was such a busy, busy, busy day for me! We started off with an early soccer game, then a potluck. Nolan had to go to tutor class and then my sisters and their families came over for dinner to celebrate Mother's Day and my Dad's 88th birthday! Here's Dad enjoying his birthday cake and ice cream after a delicious chinese dinner! Happy 88th Dad!! Here's the card I made for Nolan to give to him. I just love this new stamp set I bought from Gina K Designs. Owl's are so popular now, just like those cupcakes. Been around forever and all of the sudden, they are HOT! Let's not figure out the craze :) The cute sentiment "be happy" is from Dandelion Designs. Jean's stamps are the cutest and just the right size to fit in the SU 1 1/4" circle. I'll be posting more of Dandelion Designs stamps in my next post or two...
Recipe: Owl Always Love You stamp set by Gina K Designs, Be Happy stamp by Dandelion Designs, DS paper by 3 Bugs, punches by SU. I colored the owls using More Mustard and Close to Cocoa ink refill and blender pens. Copic pens for the leaves and branches.

Here's a pic of the boys from Na Kai Koa soccer team after the potluck. Everyone was happy after a delicious potluck lunch!
Remember I promised that I would take a picture of the Boy's Day Koi that we bought this year? Here it is! We'll need to take it down already before it gets beaten up by the hot sun, wind and rain!

Hope you all had a good Monday!
