We used our Quickutz alphabet die to cute out the word "special". This is from a set called Ginger. At first, we thought it might be a little too thin, but it came out perfect - at least to me! There are 10 envelopes behind of this front panel and they are so you can put photos or mini pages in each pocket. There are tabs on each page. If you don't see the tabs, that's because at the time I took these photos, there weren't any! Thanks to Wini, she put them all on for me. Aren't I the luckiest gal??
We tried a new project
Got this idea from one of my bff Joyce to use up our simply scrappin' kits to make these fun photo holders created by Amy Celona. I've been collecting these hostess simply scrappin' kits with other events in mind but this worked out well. Here's what we made using up our Friends and Flowers SS kits. I want to try using other SS kits - the ideas are endless. Ideas brewing in my head now are baby books and also gotta try using Rose Cottage. I saw that one already made by someone and it comes out beautiful!! If you haven't already checked out Amy Celona's website, here's the link Amy Celona. It's always a challenge when you are using a different kit to create a project other than the one the creator used. Thank goodness I went over to Wini's house to make this because with all of the distractions at home, I don't think I would've come up with such an elaborate cover.
