June Class - Sympathy Cards

We just don't know when we need these sympathy cards, so why not have them on hand? That was the thought that came through my mind when planning my June class. For me, I never have any wedding or sympathy cards on hand! I didn't realize that it wasn't as easy as I thought to come up with designs for the sympathy cards. Rummaging through my cardstock to select colors, I selected the River Rock color. I really love this color and will be sad to see this retire. I cut my cardstock 3 1/4" X 11" then added on a piece of 2" X 3 1/4" of soft sky cardstock to make the card 3 1/4" X 6". This card fits good in the SU small open end envelopes (3 1/2" X 6 3/4").
Supplies:
Cardstock: river rock (3 1/4" X 11"), basic black, soft sky (2" X 3 1/4"), basic gray
NOTE: score river rock CS 6” and then attach the soft sky piece to the short side of the card so that it evens out with the river rock side.
Ink: basic black
Stamps: Embrace Life (Flower), God’s BlessingsAccessories: double stitch soft sky ribbon, sahara sand marker

Not your usual sympathy card color, but I like brown. Close to Cocoa and chocolate chip, pretty good combo.
Supplies:
Cardstock: close to cocoa, very vanilla
Ink: close to cocoa, chocolate chip
Stamps: Close as a Memory (whole set)Accessories: caramel gingham ribbon, certainly celery marker

This last card was the hardest. It turned out simple and easy to make. Why is it always the easiest card takes the longest to create?? I just have a hard time creating simple, so crazy!

Supplies:
Cardstock: whisper white, basic black
Ink: whisper white, basic black
Stamps: Three for you punch box (Thinking of You), Warmest Regards (With Sympathy), Seeing Spots (flower in circle)
Accessories: Scallop circle punch, 1 3/8” and 1 1/4" circle punches, dimensionals

That's it for today! I have to be good and get off blurfing. Invited my sister over for dinner tonight so gotta get going! Got the best recipe for a yummy chuck roast! Happy Sunday to you! Thanks for coming by today! If I can be a good girl and stay off the computer for the rest of the day, I hope to create more projects to show you!!
