Tag Treat Box Tutorial

ETA: Forgot to give the size of tag that I used. It's 2 1/4" X 4 1/4". You can adjust the size of the cardstock to the size of your tag, just gotta play with the sizing :)

Here is a fast and easy treat box to make using 2 manila tags that you can buy at an office supply store and a piece of cardstock. I found one of my samples from years ago making this treat box...you know how projects kind of come back around, right? This is so easy and perfect for a little Halloween treat too! I made this box for a lunch time demo that I will be doing at Joy's office today! Cut a piece of cardstock at 6 3/4" X 2 1/2". I used Kiwi Kiss.

Score 1/2" on each long ends.

Turn the paper and score at 2 1/4" and 4 1/2".

Fold on the score lines and cut up to the 1/2" mark as shown below.

When done, it should look like this:

Add adhesive on both long ends as shown below:

And connect like this on both sides.

Attach your already decorated tag like this. You will attach the second tag on the other side.
Your box is complete and should look like this!

Here's a pic of the front view with my cute gingerbread man from the Deer Friends stamp set (Hostess, level 2).

Hope you enjoyed this fast & easy project! Happy Aloha Friday!! Have a crafty weekend!
