Easter Blessings to You!

Happy Easter to you!! Of course because I procrastinated in creating all of my Easter treats, I ran out of time. Had lunch with Cheryl during the week and rushed to make a basket for her. I'm such a glutten for punishment and am always challenging myself to create outside of the box, do you do that? I've been wanting to cover this box for months and kept putting it off. I guess there was a reason for not doing it then because it worked perfect for my Easter basket! I covered the box with a selection from the Sweet Always DSP paper pack and adhered it to the box with the SU glue stick. Then, I punched out a border using the SU eyelet border punch and also made a small patch of grass using kiwi kiss cardstock and cutting with my paper snips. Of course, I needed a fence. I found these fence cut outs that I had in my stash for a few years now. My friend Darcie (thanks Darcie!) had this die and I thought it was cute so I asked to borrow it to cut out a few. This came in handy since I don't own the Martha Stewart picket fence punch. Worked perfect for this box don'tcha think? Cute Easter Anya image colored with my copics and cute bunny & chicks embellished the box. I debated on buying this bunny & chick die but I'm glad I did...
Here's a close up of the embellishments...
I filled the box with a starbucks mocha frappuccino (my favorite and cheryl's), Godiva chocolates and cadbury eggs...Happy Easter! Cheryl, I hope you liked your basket!
