This is my second post for today, and it's not a crafty post but I wanted to share today since alot of people who read my blog are family and personal friends, so this is my way of keeping you all up-to-date! More crafty posts tomorrow!
My baby is 14 today. Boy, where did the time go? I took a vacation day from work to spend it with him and he wanted to go to Hawaiian Brian's to play ping pong and shoot pool with his buddy Stephen. I enjoyed watching them play and have a good time, even if I didn't join in on the fun. Nolan and Eric play during vacation breaks and Nolan has become quite good at pool.

He also loves ping pong because he plays alot at the school's boys and girls club. This was Stephen's first time playing ping pong and he seemed to have enjoyed himself.

Yup! Mom made them pose for a photo! I had to have some pics to document this special day right?! I have lots of pics to scrap though - I guess I better get going on it! Because it is kind of dark in there, even with my flash on and editing the photo, this was the best I could get it.

We ate lunch at Big City Diner...Nolan loves their philly cheesesteak sandwiches. The fried noodle (my fave) was delicious! We had our waiter take this photo, but I guess the lighting wasn't good in their either! (What is up with the lighting issues today???)

Birthday peeps get to have a free ice cream...doesn't this look yummy?? We were all so full to order our own dessert, so we all watched Nolan eat his, ha!

I cooked shortribs tonight, even though we were still full from lunch, but grandma and grandpa had to eat. We did "force" ourselves to eat the yummy Dream cake from Napoleon Bakery. I had grandma snap this photo but it came out a little blurry. Not bad, I guess, for an 84 year old who never used a digi camera (or any camera) before.

Happy 14th Nolan! We love you!
