This first card is a thinking of you card and uses the new in-color cardstock Dusty Durango. We stamped color on color using the set Circle Circus. The chocolate chip strip was wound through a crimper and we stamped and cut out the butterfly from the Simple Friendship set. The butterfly was stamped in Kiwi Kiss, which just retired, but I just had to use it! The sentiment came from a level 3 hostess set called Kind and Caring Thoughts and was punched out using the wide oval punch.
We did the gatefold for this sympathy card and this in-color is called Crushed Curry. This color is a bit strong, but was toned down using barely banana and chocolate chip. I kind of like this color combo. I used the eyelet border punch to add a bit of softness to the card. The flower on the front of the card is also from the Kind and Caring Thoughts set.
Here's what the card looks like opened. Both sentiments are from Thoughts and Prayers. I stamped the flower in the middle of the verse inside of the card using So Saffron ink.
I love this tree from the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set. Added little rhinestones to the branches. This in-color is called Soft Suede. The frame around the image is the new in-color called Rich Razzleberry. I really like these new in-colors. The ribbon is also new and is the new in-color called Bermuda Blue. You can get this ribbon in all of the new in-colors.
The sentiment is from the set called Oval All and fits perfectly in the scallop oval punch. I had to make a small slit on the left side of the card on the fold so that the ribbon can be inserted through.
