Island Girls Summer Fun

Aloha Tuesday friends! I can't believe that it's been more than a couple of days since I last posted! Besides my hip having problems, I had to catch up on house chores too! Last night, I designed the tags for September's 50 christmast tag class, so the sneak peek will be coming as soon as I can get my photo taken!
This past weekend, I had a gathering for a bunch of island girls, most of them who are blogging sisters. Since this was a test gathering to see what kind of response I would get if I planned a few of these annually, it was by invitation only. I'll have to figure out how to organize a larger group for the next time.
Here is one of the three projects that we made. Got this cutie Hanglar image from my GF Marit who lives in Norway...,thanks Marit! I just LOVE this spring image!! The card was cut using a XL Sizzix die - just love the flourishes at the bottom of the card (it's part of the die). You can get this die at J's Knicknacks, that's where I got my die from. When I last checked, there was a bunch left so head on over there to get yours! Thanks to Linda, Denise and Jamee for helping me finish up the coloring of the images!! Here's what the inside looked like:
I can't believe that we all fit in the photo!!
Special thanks to the Rosario family for letting us utilize their showroom for this event! We will be having another gathering sometime in the near future. I'm still recovering from this. I will have more photos to share from this fun event soon!
Thanks for sticking with me, there are more fun photos to share, promise!!
