Quick Birthday Card

I've been so busy planning my little gathering with some of the blogging sisters for Saturday that I had no time to create! I had 2 island girls that celebrated their birthday the day after mine and I just ran out of time to make cards. I need to get better at this! I made a gatefold card but added a belly band keep it closed. All DP is by SU. Still really love this sweet birdie from the Cheep Talk stamp set. One of my favorite stamp sets for words is Fundamental Phrases, that's where I got the word Wishes from. Here's the card opened up. What do you think?

On another note, talk about bad luck for me. Last night I noticed that my left leg had a wierd feeling to it and when I woke up in the middle of the night and had this sharp pain go through my leg when I tried to stand up! Was really scared! Went to the doctor and he said that I had
Trochanteric Bursitis - what?? I attached a link so if you are interested, you can read this article I found online. He gave me a cortisone shot in my thigh (ouch!!) - and told me that I have to cut down on my walking for a while...**sigh**...I'm kind of bummed but I'll get over it. Thanks for sticking with my inconsistent posts! I will be back on a more regular schedule soon, promise!! And BTW, I found my pics so I will be getting myself a portable HD to file them off!!
