Can you tell I love Halloween? I couldn't wait to play with my new DSP and stamp sets that I ordered from the Holiday mini catalog. For this cute little treat box, I used the XL Sizzix die called Bitty box and tag. This is such a cute box! I lined the inside of the box with the new DSP called Night and Day Specialty. I was really surprised to learn that this pack of DSP also comes with 2 printed window sheets! Very cool. Back to my box...I used the scallop edge punch on one of the edges.. This is what the box looks like opened.
Here's a close up of the box and what the box looks like closed with my belly band on. I used another of the DSP from the same specialty pack. I just loved this image too! This cute tweet little chicky came from the set called Twick or Tweet. I used my SU markers - Barely Banana, Yoyo Yellow, Only Orange. I tried to blend it a bit, can you tell? Cut the image out with the 1 3/4" circle punch and a larger scallop punch (non-SU). Very simple, but fun! I guess I'm learning that if you are planning to mass produce cards, tags or favors to keep it simple. I always forget that when I'm designing projects because I love to add alot of stuff!
I almost forgot to thank these wonderful blog sisters for my gifts...yes, these are still BRAKS! This first brak is from Enjoli...she makes the cutest Hello Kitty projects...and look at all of the other goodies! Holy smokes, I love them all!! Thanks Enjoli!!
Wow from my GF Toni! Such a generous BRAK! I love it all! Thank you!
I'm not sure if I posted this BRAK from Cami...I love it! I especially got excited to see the 2010 planner because I do like to keep organized and I didn't buy a 2010 planner yet! Now I'm set! Thanks Cami!!
I meant to post earlier today, but had lots to do before heading out to the soccer game. I've been busy as a bee getting the kits all counted and packed. I'm even having to die cut some of the tags because of the way the papers had to be cut...almost done! Thanks for coming by for a peek today! More sweet treats hopefully tomorrow!!
