The Bonus Projects!
At every class (just about), I offer a bonus project to the attendees. It's really fun to think up something fun to make after the class projects are done. This month, since we were making giftcard holders, I figured out how to make one more real easy peasy GCH. I cut out a scallop square using the clear Sizzix scallop square die in Ruby Red. Then, I using my DSP (Christmas Cocoa Specialty) I cut out just half of the square. Added a notch using my 3/4" circle punch and then adhered the sides and bottom to the ruby square. That's it! Added a ribbon and embellished it with a scallop circle and snowman image. This cute snowman image is stamped using Always Artichoke. Image from the Christmas Punch set (Level 2 hostess). I decided that this year, I'm going the gift card route for my holiday gift giving...
I couldn't help myself and had to buy the santa outfit die for my build-a-bear. Isn't Santa adorable?? To me, it was easier than putting a Hello Kitty together...but I guess it was partially because my dad cut out all of the pieces for us, thanks Dad!!
