Santa Owl Card

I couldn't resist buying this cute QK Owl die, isn't it the cutest?? There weren't too many pieces and was easy to put together to make this fast card. I'm gonna break the rules for a minute and share with you that I got this 4X4 QK die from Fisher (Cooke St.) for half price! In fact, all QK's are half off! That's one of the reasons why I couldn't resist - another reason is because I'm such a sucker for cute images and dies...Oh and BTW, the santa hat is an old QK die but went perfect with this owl cutie. Flourish punch, polka dot grosgrain ribbon, felt snowflake, rhinestone and a sizzix embossing folder for the background.
**Sigh**, it feels like a Monday today since we had the holiday yesterday...spent most of my day waiting for my son and taking him to appts. He tried out for the school's soccer team for the last three days and I am so proud to share with you that he made it! He's one of the two keepers (Goalie) and is the only freshman on the team. I guess all those keeper practices paid off! And because the school has no JV team, he's playing for the Varsity team! whoo hoo! First scrimage is tonight, so you know where I'll be!
