Fun Friday for me!

This past Friday was a furlough Friday for me. I'm so glad that I had the day off as I received an invitation from my upline Cindy to have lunch at this cute place in Kailua called A CUP OF TEA with a couple of my other stamping sisters - Norine and Pam. I can't believe that I've never heard of this place before since it's in my neck of the woods. Anyway, I wanted to make some small gifts as most of us island girls do when we have a get together. What to make, what to make! Joy to the rescue! Joy and Taelyn stopped by Thursday night after work and I was in luck that Joy taught me how to make this cute holder. We all saw the load that she made on her blog and of course, I had received a totally cute one from Mama...Here's how mine turned out - I used the cute Build-a-Bear stamp set. I think I did pretty good considering I was so tired when I was making them! It truly was not difficult to make (tutorial Joy??) Here's a close up of the front panel. Used the three flower punch and the scallop trim border punch. DSP is called Kaleidoscope.
Here's the side view...
I decided to make a few 3X3 cards with envelopes to put in the front portion of the holder. The post-it note went in the back pocket.
Here's what the inside of the place looked like...such a fun place and so girly! It was all dressed up for Easter!
Here's the yummy desserts we had...the cup was chocolate and yes, I ate it all! Yum!
Here's a photo of us enjoying our tea.
It was such a relaxing afternoon ladies! Thank you so much for the good company, good food and good stories!
Thanks for stopping by today! BTW, the March OCS emails finally went out...Thanks to all who signed up!
