Fun Friday for me!
This past Friday was a furlough Friday for me. I'm so glad that I had the day off as I received an invitation from my upline Cindy to have lunch at this cute place in Kailua called A CUP OF TEA with a couple of my other stamping sisters - Norine and Pam. I can't believe that I've never heard of this place before since it's in my neck of the woods. Anyway, I wanted to make some small gifts as most of us island girls do when we have a get together. What to make, what to make! Joy to the rescue! Joy and Taelyn stopped by Thursday night after work and I was in luck that Joy taught me how to make this cute holder. We all saw the load that she made on her blog and of course, I had received a totally cute one from Mama...Here's how mine turned out - I used the cute Build-a-Bear stamp set.
I think I did pretty good considering I was so tired when I was making them! It truly was not difficult to make (tutorial Joy??) Here's a close up of the front panel. Used the three flower punch and the scallop trim border punch. DSP is called Kaleidoscope.
Here's the side view...
I decided to make a few 3X3 cards with envelopes to put in the front portion of the holder. The post-it note went in the back pocket.
