I made this project a while ago as one of our class bonuses and of course, did not keep a sample. The other day, I posted this project on our SU demonstrator forum called Stampin' Connection and wow! there were so many inquiries as to the directions, measurements, etc. for this. So I decided to re-create one so that I could do a mini tutorial for those who are interested.
Here's what the project looks like completed.

Cardstock colors used: Melon Mambo and Soft Suede
Accessories: Sizzix Top Note die, scallop circle punch, pink satin ribbon and embossing folder.
Here's a side view...

The original one I made looks a little wider, but you can make adjustments to the measurements once you make one you can figure it out.
Here's one of the cards I made to fit in the inside pocket.
Stamp set used: Fox and Friends.

Here's what you will need: one top note piece (I used my crop-a-dile to punch two holes for the ribbon. It's easier to tie ribbon on before attaching the top note to the body of the holder. The main piece measures 4 1/4" X 11". Score at 5" and 6". The inside pocket measures at 5"X5 1/4". Lay the 5 1/4" edge horizontally on the top of your cutter (I use my fiskars cutter and a scoring blade to score my lines), score 1" on each side. Turn the cardstock and with the 5" edge horizontally on the top of the cutter, score at 2" and 3". Cut 1" from each of the edges on both sides - refer to the photo below. Using your 1 1/4" circle punch, punch a half circle in the middle front of the pocket (refer to photo). Adhere the flaps to assemble your pocket.

I used this circle image from the set called Vintage Labels (you can get this set FREE during our SAB promotion!) and punched it out using my scallop circle punch. Adhere the circle to the top note die as shown. Adhere the backside of the top note to the back of the 4 1/4" X 11" main piece as shown below.

This is what the pocket will look like after you assemble it.

Put adhesive on the back of the pocket like this:

Adhere the pocket to the inside of the main piece like this:

Your holder is done! Here's a view of the completed holder with the cards and envelopes inside.

A close up...

I finished the pocket by adding a strip of DSP and a sentiment.
Hope you enjoyed this mini tutorial! Have fun making this cute holder and thanks for your visit today!
