Well, sorry for missing a day of posting, I kind of ran out of energy. The doctor said that I have sinusitis which explains the headaches, itchy throat, raspy voice and coughing! Sheesh! I feel much better today than I did yesterday though, thank goodness. I hope it gets better from today!
Did you get a chance to peek at the **NEW** Summer Mini catalog on my website?? If not, I have now loaded it on my sidebar with a link to the catty, so please check it out if you have some time. If you already checked it out, you will see many new and exciting products including new level 1 and level 2 hostess sets for the duration of the Summer mini. Stampin' Up! always has so many fun products for us to play and create with and this new mini is packed full!
It's been a while since I used my roller wheels, and I'm kind of ashamed to admit that. But, like I said, there are always so many new products for us to play with that sometimes products such as the roller wheels get left out!
Introducing the new Builder Wheels! What are Builder Wheels? They are thinner roller wheels that you can stack to create your own custom wheel. You can stack one, two or three wheels to create your one of a kind design. To "build" your custom design of wheels, you will need to purchase, one, two or three wheels from the selection of 6 wheels available. You will also need to purchase (one time) a set of builder wheel spindle and spacers kit (#119895 $3.95) and to make the design even more fun, you can purchase an uninked triple cell cartridge (#121206 $8.50). If you want to roller in one color, you can use your one color ink cartridges. Also, if you already own a Stampin' Around Jumbo Wheel Handle (#103661 $5.95), then you don't need to purchase another one.
Here is the sample card I made using my new builder wheels. The three wheels that I used on my card: Posy Party #118615, Thoughtful Friend #118616 and Bees & Blossoms #118617 and each wheel cost only $4.50! I purchased the uninked triple cell cartridge and filled it using my reinkers. The colors I chose were regal rose, soft suede and old olive. I also used my Stampin' Around wheel guide (#104834 $9.95) to help me roll straight. I loved how it turned out! What do you think? Here's a closer look at the card. I added some regal rose grosgrain ribbon and a retired sentiment (from an old SAB set called So Very). Scallop oval and large oval punches were used.
Roller wheels are perfect to make tons of cards fast! I made these card in just a few minutes and was so happy with the results! I will be featuring these Builder Wheels in my June class. Hmm, I'm thinking of using this design to make some of my own designer paper! Will post when I'm done! Thanks for stopping by today!
