May Class little bonus project

Happy Mother's Day to all you mom's out there! We will be spending a quiet day at home. Yesterday, my sister and Dad went to visit mom like we do every Saturday. We bought an extra big bunch of flowers for the vases since this is Mother's Day weekend.
Glad you came back today to see the little bonus project that I will be adding to the kits for next weekend. I love little extras, don't you? Here is what we will be making in addition to the three wedding and three graduation cards next week at my class. It's a tag to tie on to a graduation gift. You know that the sock monkey is one of my favorites and I love how there's a whole set of sock monkey accessories too! I unmounted the graduation cap so that I can use it on my acrylic block so that I can line up the cap on the monkey's head. For some reason, I like leaving the monkey uncolored. I've tried coloring it before and it looks too busy for me. I did color the mouth on this project. I used a scallop circle sizzix die to cut out the tag. Marvy punches for the rest of the circles because none of my SU punches worked with this die. Finished it off with some dotted grosgrain ribbon, love the soft suede color.
Here's what the inside looks like. Kept it simple.
I hope you like the little bonus that we will be making at class! If you ordered a kit to go, this little bonus will also be included in your kit. There's still room if you would like to attend May's classes or if you would like to mail order the kit to go. I promise that you will love all of the cards. All of the cards this month have tons of details inside and out of the cards.
BTW, the April kits have finally been mailed to you and again, I apologize for the delay. Being sick delayed it even longer...I'm so sorry!
