I missed a fun gathering with some of the island girls right before I left for my vacation. I also missed making a cute little purse that the talented
Mama taught the rest of the girls. So, my GF
Joy came over and taught me how to make one and it is just so cute! I used the newest DP from SU called Island Oasis, which you can find in the new Summer mini catalog. It is prettier in real life than in the catty. Definately has some island flavor to it! I used pumpkin pie CS for the band, used my scallop trim border punch for the edges, jumbo eyelets, old olive grosgrain ribbon and tab punch for the purse closure. The flower was made using the scallop circle punch and the left over DP. We added a cute little charm that was given to me by my GF Joy.
