Fabulous Flowers. I know that this stamp set is not a new one, but it's one that I debated back and forth about getting. I finally broke down and ordered it and then it sat and sat. Now that I sat down to make a card with this set, I realized that this is not a stamp that you can just "stamp". It looks best when you have layers. It's a good thing that it wasn't too bad cutting out. I stamped the flower three times in pumpkin pie and liked the way the colors came out kind of variegated. Stamped the sentiment in chocolate chip. I also dotted some gold stickles on the edge of the petals of the flower to give it some extra shine. Not too bad. I think I'll have to visit splitcoast to see what people have created using this set...need ideas!

Have a super weekend! It should be nice weather here in Hawaii so hopefully we will get to be outdoors to do something fun at least for one of the weekend days. School is out for the short 7 week summer!I'll be working this weekend on my June class projects. We will be creating wedding and sympathy cards. Seems like we all need cards like these but never make the time to create a "stash" to have on hand. I'll also be creating a "bonus" project for all attendees! My customer classes will be on Sunday, June 22 and Sunday, June 29 at my home from 10 to 1 pm. Kits will also be available. I'll be posting the sneak peek early next week.
